Hedgesville had a shot on the final leg, but was unable to run clean. Winfield 57.13 was good enough to give the unit of Caleb Martin, Zach Shreve, Charles Schuler, and Cam Jividen the 5th Best Class AAA State Meet Performance this Decade. High Jump
Huntington's Xavier Humphrey was the only jumper to clear 6'8. That effort is good enough to score him a tie for the 10th Best Class AAA State Meet Performance and a tie for the 2nd Best Class AAA State Meet Performance this Decade. Hedgesville's duo of Chris Deaner and Marquis Woods. Deaner's jump along with previous State Meet jumps of 6'4 and 6'0 give him the 6th Best Class AAA State Meet Performance this Decade.

Wheeling Park's Eric Ripley won the title for the 2nd year in a row. His 14'4 vault is the 2nd Best Class AAA State Meet Performance this Decade. Jefferson's Aaron Roberts was the only other vaulter to clear 13'6. St. Albans' David Osborne and Bridgeport's Mathew Cummings each cleared 13'.
